Tovah, Where Are You? Come Over and Sunbathe with Me! Then We Can Eat Meals of Raw Meat, Dead Mice, Fruit and Bread.

The June 13, 2008 edition of Mail Online reported on a really sweet story about two totally curious friends. Muschi, a domestic black cat, and her besty, Maeuschen, a black bear, have been friends for eight years. In 2000, Muschi just started showing up at the Berlin Zoo and hanging around Maeuschen. Zoo officials didn't disrupt the unusual companions since "they got along so well."

In October 2007, their friendship was disrupted when Maeuschen was moved to an enclosed area while her usual habitat was enlarged. Mail Online reports that "the distraught cat soon caught the attention of zoo keepers after she remained sitting outside the bear's cage pining for her friend."

Zoo keepers reunited them this week and they enjoyed a cuddle before catching up on the gossip they missed during their separation. "They sunbathed together and shared meals of raw meat, dead mice, fruit and bread." Just like me and my friends!
